The Meratsu Test

The Meratsu Test is a super fast quiz game.

A question is either a short keyword or an image.

For each question there are five possible answers, of which only one is correct.

Each question has a difficulty level from (easy) to ★★★★★ (very hard), defined by how other players have done on the same questions.

A game consists of five questions in the same category.

You start on level one. If you get all five questions right you advance to the next level. As long as you have at least one question right you stay on the same level, but if you score all wrong, you are moved back to the level below!

You have one minute to answer all five questions, but if you spend more than five seconds on a question, you will receive a small time penalty.

Score per game is determined by the level, the number of correct answers and time spent. The maximum theoretical score for a perfect game is 5.0 points,

Over time, your total score for each category is calculated from your average and highest score.

In theory, if you play an infinite number of perfect games on level five, you will approach a total score of 5.0 points!
